Welcome to NAMASTE Photography

Namaste Photography is a small, owner-operated, photography business. I shoot landscapes, both rural and urban. Among the photographers who proven to be inspirational are Berenice Abbott, Ansel Adams, Eugene Atget, Bruce Barnbaum, Craig Blacklock, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jack Dykinga, Dorothea Lange, Elliott Porter, Tina Modotti, & Scandinavia. I have been photographing seriously for about 10 years. Most recently I have  become enamored with black & white photography. There is nothing more dramatic than a well-visualized, technically proficient, and beautifully printed b/w photograph. The absence of color facilitates the emergence of other aspects of the photo environment, including texture, form, pattern, tonality, and, of course, light! I print my black & white photographs  employing Jon Cone's Piezigraphy system (carbon-pigment based inks) using a converted Epson 3880 printer. Preferred papers include Hahnemuhle photo rag bright white, Ilford gold fibre silk, and Canson infinity photographique.
